IBWIP was born in May of 2007. It’s the brain child of host Blake Clayton. The show was and always will be a breading ground for under ground and independent country music… REAL country music. You wont find any POP country music on this show. We pride ourselves on playing the best music in the underground scene and feature great interviews from the people who create the music that we play.

Of course, since it’s conception, IBWIP has taken on many different formats. In the early episode it was Blake by himself hosting the show. The famous comedy skits that we all know and love started all the way back then. When episode 17 came along IBWIP saw a drastic change. After being tore apart on The Bubba The Love Sponge Show, a national satellite radio show, Blake decided to change the look and attitude of the show. That is when Norma Jean and Creepy Guy became IBWIP’s first ever co-hosts.

The show became not only a show for great music, but also a hilarious adult comedy. With a bottle of wine in hand Norma Jean gave fans a taste of sexyness that the show had never had. The more raunchy the better was how IBWIP took to the podcasting web waves. The highlight of Norma Jean and Creepy Guy’s time on the show was the famous Christmas special. Who could ever forget Creepy Guy’s blow up doll, Destiney and Norma Jean’s boyfriend putting on a nighty and candy thong underwear.

It was during this time that Blake flirted with Pee-A-Vision. This was a live video stream of the crew taping the show. Fans were able to chat with the show while we were taping. Many a fans sat and stared at the screen as Norma Jean slurred her way through the fan feedback and watching porno clips. It’s defiantly worth going back and listening to those ol episodes, mostly if you started listening to the show after Norma Jean and Creepy Guy had left the show. Many memorable moments for sure.

On Episode 36 it was time to usher in a new face lift for IBWIP. In this episode we introduced IBWIP’s new co-host Uncle Bubba. Straight from his cock farm, Uncle Bubba took to the mic like an ol pro. Very quickly it became apparent that Blake and Bubba were a perfect match. They have impeccable timing, years of stories, and are a perfect fit. Fans took to Bubba very quickly and he has become an anchor of the shows success.

Not long after Uncle Bubba’s arrival, his lovely wife Mrs.Bubba joined the team. She brought back that woman’s touch to the show. Mrs. Bubba made famous “The Vagina Princess” segment and guys and gals alike quickly started to shower her with praise.

So here we are… over three years old, hundreds of thousands of downloads, and a dedicated fan base. We are always looking for the show to evolve and take different roads. The one constant of IBWIP will ALWAYS be the music. It’s a place for artists to showcase their talents and to piss on the porch of corporate Nashville.
