The Crew with IBWIP STICKERS

So we did some recording tonight for EP19. We posted some pictures from the session on our myspace but this is one of my favorites. We are still not ready to announce the special guest because we are waiting on a full confirmation but we already have the quest lined up for our HALLOWEEN SPECIAL in October! We now have IBWIP Stickers so if your interested just send us an email at blake@ibwip.com and we will tell you where to send your SASE and we will get some out to you. We will be posting some more pics here on www.ibwip.com really soon. We are hoping to get the picture section organized a little better as well. We got a great review at Twangnation of Episode 18. Gearin Up For MFM Release Party

Well, things are gearin’ up for our trip to Cinci for the Metal Farm Magazine Release Party. We got stickers ordered and they will be here next week, we made a whole bunch of shirts to give away, and we got the laptop all set to record.

The guys at MFM have been cool as shit since we got to know them about 6 months ago. We are honored to be invited and are looking forward to the experiance. Issue #1 MFM

Finally… It’s here

Well, thanks to Andy the IBWIP.COM site is finally up. It’s been a dream of mine since I started doing the show to have a website dedicated to IBWIP. We are not stopping here. We have alot more ideas for the site, but we have to give Andy a break. Ha Ha.

I wanted to take a few minutes also to thank all the fans for their kind words and for supporting the show. The whole reason why we do the show is for you and for the indie artists that are out there making awesome music. Sure we are a little raunchy, but I dont think that it takes away from the main purpose of the show…. the music.  At least I hope it doesn’t.

We have alot of stuff coming up in the next couple months here at IBWIP. We have the road trip to Cincinatti Ohio to participate in the Metal Farm Magazine Release Party, we have the IBWIP Auction coming up on September 19th to try to raise money for the show, we have EP 19 to start working on and are already working up some cool stuff for EP 20 which will be our 2nd annual Halloween Special.

Keep checkin the site out for more tweaks, bells, and whistles. So far (at least for the show) it’s been a great year and we continue to push forward to make things even bigger and better.

Shame on you if you think that only guys can make kick ass REAL country music! In this episode of IBWIP we introduce you to just a few of the talented (and beautiful) ladies that are out there putting their own THANG in TWANG. We were lucky enough to get to have Rachel Brooke as our featured interview. She’s got an amazing voice and a style all her own. We are also going to feature music from Star Anna, Elizabeth Cook, Carmen Lee, and Little Lisa Dixie.

Of course it wouldn’t be an episode of IBWIP without another great comedy skit. Unfortunately, we are unable to mention the title do to the legal issues that we have currently found ourselves in (which we talk about anyway). Trust us though, it’s well worth the listen. Of course we have another great giveaway featuring a Rachel Brooke Giveaway Pack. That’s right, not just a CD, but a whole lot more so make sure you email your answer to us. As the dust settles and construction on the new IBWIP nears completion, we bring you Episode 17 with a whole new format, new cast members, and an all round better program. We feature an interview with Jayke Orvis, from the .357 String Band, and play a couple of tracks from their new album Fire & Hail. In this episode we also unleash our new co-host Ryan “Creepy Guy” Hamm to you the listener.

Blake and Ryan also take a couple minutes to talk about the Tim McGraw concert fight video, Norma Jean watch’s Two Girls and One Cup for the first time, and we play IBWIP Jeopardy. We do another one of your famous IBWIP Giveaway’s.  This time we are giving away an awesome Spfanzine.com T-shirt and a Hank Cash CD.

With summer finally here, we get to spend some time with Jared Morningstar as he provides us with an album review of Justin Townes Earl’s new album, The Good Life. Jared also has a new show of his own that we will let you know about.

But most importantly we have some tracks to play from great bands that are out there but corporate Nashville is keeping you in the dark about. I can’t believe it’s been one year that we have been doing IBWIP. It’s been an interesting ride since our first episode featuring Joey Allcorn. All I can say is; THANK YOU! Without you the fans, the show wouldn’t be what it is today. So here we go with Episode 15 featuring an interview with Wayne Gottstine from Split Lip Rayfield. We also have the final installment of Billy’s Lessons to put a smile on your face. The show comes to you straight from the NEW Get Your Hank On Studio!
