We welcome back our great friend Slackeye Slim to the show. In this episode we talk about his song “The Juniper Tree” from the album “Giving My Bones To The Western Plains”. He dives into the inspiration for the song and how the West has inspired him. Slim also talks about how his songwriting has changed since “Texas Whore Pleaser” and he leaks a little tidbit about what he is starting to work on for the next album. Slackeye Slim has been a long time friend of IBWIP and we were glad to have him back on the show.
