It Burns When I Pee: November 2009 Newsletter

Well folks, it’s been a long time since we put out a newsletter but with the release of EP35 on November 27th we just had to remind yall that we are still out here. Alot has changed in the past few months. Most notably is the addition of Uncle Bubba as our new co-host. He has really made a difference to the show and we think that we have started hitting on all cylinders.

As we said before we are getting ready to release EP35 “Intervention” on November 27th. We think that this is one of the all time best shows that we have ever done. We feature a face to face interview with Split Lip Rayfield. Among other things on the show Blake sings… way too much, Uncle Bubba calls out Blake for hitting on Mrs. Bubba, and Blake talks about the stains on his white T-Shirts. And if that wasn’t enough (and it’s usually MORE than enough) we pay tribute to our new found hero George Takei, Uncle Bubba Rants about Black Friday. Don’t miss this legendary episode of IBWIP.

Hello there fans of IBWIP. A very dear friend of mine has a son named Brody who is 3 years old. He was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. We here at IBWIP have volunteered to walk for TEAM BRODY on September 13th. We are coming to you to ask that you lend a helping hand to help raise money for The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We know times are tough right now, but we are asking that all our fans donate just $10.

Below is a little info about Type 1 Diabetes:

Type 1, or juvenile, diabetes, is a devastating, often deadly disease that affects millions of people–a large and growing percentage of them children.

Many people think type 1 diabetes can be controlled by insulin. While insulin does keep people with type 1 diabetes alive, it is NOT a cure. Aside from the daily challenges of living with type 1 diabetes, there are many severe, often fatal, complications caused by the disease.

That’s the bad news… and yes, it’s pretty bad.

The good news, though, is that a cure for type 1 diabetes is within reach. In fact, JDRF funding and leadership is associated with most major scientific breakthroughs in type 1 diabetes research to date. And JDRF funds a major portion of all type 1 diabetes research worldwide, more than any other charity.
