This episode is our IBWIP/SSR Auction for Autism wrap up show. In this episode, we play music from Joe Huber, Chelsea McBee, Slackeye Slim, Danny K and The Night Lifers, and Lone Wolf OMB. These are just a couple of the artists that were kind enough to donate to our auction. When we thought about doing this auction, we never imagined it would have such an amazing turn out. THANK YOU SO MUCH to all the folks that donated, DJ’s on SilentStormRadio, and The Christy Family. Most of all though, we want to thank all those who bid on items and donated. YOU CAN STILL DONATE a dollar amount at our donation page.

In this episode, we retire “Would You Rather”. During this final installment, which Amish BJ and Coldbeer are very upset about, we try to help BJ win and Coldbeer wants to make a TANGWHICH. We also review the IBWIP Survey results. Mollz gets busted and Blake has swamp balls again. Amish BJ can’t find a beer and Blake has trouble talking twice during the show. We also discuss the IBWIP/SSR 12 hour telethon. Coldbeer loved the guest host Batman and the pirate that promised her son a $37,000.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0067 “Well… I Am Going To File a Grievance”

This week we bring you the last IBWIP episode before we take our Muddy Roots vacation. In this episode we bring you music from Reverend Peyton’s Bid Damn Band, Cornmeal, Luther Wright & The Wrongs, 10 Foot Polecats, and the one and only Dad Horse Experience.

There is no featured interview on this episode so we bring you laughs till you pee your pants. In our Stupid People Doing Stupid Things segment we review a story about a bride that “didn’t mean” to stab her groom just hours before the wedding. We also bring back our Intern Interview bit by calling up Richard Pricks and seeing if he would be a good fit as the IBWIP intern.

Amish BJ gives us a review of a “film” that he watched the other night, talks about why he showers, and tries to lock in some lovin’ from Coldbeer. Blake talks about his new neighbor who may or may not be an Asian hooker. Blake also bitches about needing a producer because he keeps messing up the show, and Coldbeer gets one of her most challenging Fan Feedback’s ever.

We touch on Randy Travis’s drunk and naked arrest. Blake admits that he likes gay people and Amish BJ gets pissed and threatens to file a co-host grievance with the union. This fun filled episode is well worth a listen. We will be off until September 24th when we return to bring you the close of the IBWIP Auction for Autism.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0066 “Going for the Gold”

In the spirit of the 2012 Olympics, we bring you a gold plated episode of IBWIP. In this episode, we have an interview with Mike McClure from The Mike McClure Band, Jason Galaz from Muddy Roots, and a live interview with Lester Raww from The Pine Box Boys. We were honored to be the first to be able to play brand new Pine Box Boys music!

Coldbeer Coley wins two Gold medals on this episode for her play during “Would You Rather” and her rendition of the contact information. Amish BJ felt he was screwed out of a medal though. We clarify how tall a beach volleyball player is, and Amish BJ loads up his gun to lay the smack down on a hater.

We announce the Bag Pag’s contest, and also talk about the IBWIP Auction for Autism, Silentstormradio.com, and Camp Crusty.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0065 “Spin Cycle”

Have you ever wanted to play Hide-N-Seek with your child but didn’t have any place to hide them? Do you know what year the pilgrims held the first Beer tasting competition? Have you ever run backwards in a cornfield? If you answered “no” to any of these questions then you need to listen to this episode of IBWIP. In this episode we also play music from Tom Vandenavond, Highlonesome, The Meat Purveyors, Juke Joint Pimps, and The Pine Hill Haints.

Amish BJ, Coldbeer, and Blake talk about Blake’s struggles with having to fend for himself since Mollz is away visiting “The Rat”. Coldbeer and Amish BJ get new mics, BJ has to wipe his butt with a magazine, and Blake drinks orange Fanta soda in his “techno” mug. We also do “Stupid People Doing Stupid Things” where we discuss a ninja saving a young boys life. We also call long time fan Ira who tells us about his pussy poop.

We talk about the new IBWIP Auction for Autism which is a very important event coming up in mid September. Coldbeer decides the Camp Crusty sign for this year’s Muddy Root needs to go PUNK. We also announce big news for the next two episodes which includes an exclusive from The Pine Box Boys on EP66.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0064 “LIVE In The Morning”

This is our 3rd LIVE episode and we are starting to get the hang of it. In this episode we put an IBWIP spin on the typical FM radio morning show. We have traffic report, weather, and a tragic special report from our field reporter Jim Beam. Amish BJ, Blake, and Coldbeer also do a great job of keeping you informed of the time throughout the show.

We feature a great interview with Joe Huber (formerly of .357 String Band) and talk to him about his new solo album Tongues of Fire. We also spin tunes from The Steeldrivers, Whiskey Daredevils, and H.R Gertner.

During the show we take a moment to celebrate Amish BJ’s birthday with a catchy little tune. Blake tries to call our first intern applicant to interview, but she doesn’t answer. There is a new game that we come up with called “Is It Porn?” and we are forced to play another round of our fans favorite game… “Would You Rather?” We have a call from Blake’s life partner, TexasJeff. We also try to play the new IBWIP Promo video but Blake’s computer says NO.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0063 “The Songwriter Series Vol 2”

We continue our songwriter series here at IBWIP by interviewing the amazing Graham Lindsey. In this in depth interview Graham talks about starting out in music at a very young age, his influences, songwriting, and much more. We also spin a new tune from Joe Huber, a song from McDougall, and William Elliot Whitmore.

As for the show, we continue to work out the bugs from DOIN’ IT LIVE! We play another round of Would You Rather were Amish BJ and Coldbeer get help from the fans in the chat room to decide between bestiality or necrophilia. Our old pal Liam makes an appearance on the show, well kinda. We talk a little about Muddy Roots 2012 and Blake’s irritation with emails to make his penis bigger. Of course we join the bath salt craze that is sweeping the nation by doing another installment of Stupid People Doing Stupid Things…. that poor goat.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0062 “The Songwriter Series Vol 1”

IBWIP is going through some changes. We start it off by recording our first ever LIVE episode. I first want to thank www.silentstormradio.com for letting us use their live Veetle feed. We are also going to start releasing 2 shows a month, and shorting them up a bit. This episode is our first of a series of shows that focus on songwriters. We were honored to have Tyler Gregory as our featured guest. He is an amazing songwriter who recently had a unbelievable experience with a young blind and autistic boy which was captured on video and it went viral. Here is the link to the video, Jacob and The Guitar Man.

We also spin tunes from Possessed by Paul James, Olds Sleeper, and Soda Gardocki. In this episode, we talk about why music is so important to our lives (Amish BJ even admits to crying), do Stupid People Doing Stupid Things, and Coldbeer reads fan feedback. We get a live call in from Reverend Nix and Amish BJ points out Blake again requests to have his ego stroked.

We are looking to work out the bugs that come with doing the show live but this ended up a lot better than we were expecting. We are going to continue to raise the bar and bring you the best podcast that we possibly can. Thanks as always for your support.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0060 “Dramatic Pause”

Here in the dirty stalls of IBWIP we are gearing up for an exciting time. We are only a couple weeks away from the first ever Christy Fest and around a month away from our 5 year anniversary show. In this episode we feature a great interview with JB Beverley. We discuss his new solo album, upcoming Wayward Drifters music, as well as Muddy Roots and the diversity of his musical career. We also have two very special songs by JB.

We feature music by Trampled By Turtles, Blaze Foley, Justin Townes Earle, Ronnie Hymes, Lone Wolf, Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, and Carrie Nation & The Speak Easy.

In this episode we tried a little something new and it lead to the name of this episode. It was the first time we had decided on a show title before we even finished the episode. Leave it to Coldbeer to give us another classic IBWIP moment. We also do another round of Would You Rather. This time Amish BJ and Coldbeer have a difficult choice to make. It’s interesting for sure. We “discuss” the passing of Dick Clark, Amish drunk drivers, and update Christy Fest one last time before the big event. Coldbeer again provides us with a classic Fan Feedback segment, although I still don’t understand what the word “refreshing” means! Blake has another annoying soundboard that he can’t stop playing with and Amish BJ counts down into the New Year and finally we have rare back stage audio of the crew and Mollz.
