Sean takes some time while he drives to a gig to talk to us about his new album, growing up in Australia, poet A.B. “Banjo” Paterson among other things. We also play a couple of tracks off his new album The Colt of Old Regret.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0094 “I Give It A Sassy 5”

This episode of IBWIP brings you the first appearance of Whiskey Chaser on the show. He will be joining the crew from time to time. We play music from Jayke Orvis and The Broken Band, Imperial Rooster,Lincoln Durham, Michael Rank & Stag, Cody Gibson, and even an original song by Whiskey Chaser himself!

In this episode, we play a “Fortunately/Unfortunately” and “Would You Rather”. We also get to know Whiskey Chaser a little bit better. We welcome Miss Tawny K from Trailer Park Romance to the show to have her give her take on having the Podcasting God at her house for a week. Even with technical issues she is still a gag to have on. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0093 “An Interview with Leroy Virgil of Hellbound Glory”

We were so excited about this interview that we switched around the IBWIP schedule to get it to you folks early! I went to U.S Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Illinois to sit down with fellow scumbag Leroy Virgil of Hellbound Glory before their show. In the interview we talk about what it’s been like opening for Kid Rock on a national tour, the new Hellbound Glory Bender Broadcast, and a bunch more. It was great seeing Leroy and being able to see a full band version of Hellbound Glory and it was awesome. Not only is this podcast available as an audio show but it also available as a vidcast at our YouTube page PEEAVISION.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0091 “An Interview with J.T. Wisteard-Petersen”

We cross over the border again here at IBWIP and have another Canadian artist on the show. I have been a fan of Liquorbox for a long time now and it was great to have J.T. on the show. In the interview we discuss him recently becoming a husband and father, what is the current state of Liquorbox, Muddy Roots 2011, and Canada retiring the penny. We also discuss his side projects like The Rotted Roots Ramblers and Cold Distant Stare with J.B. Beverly. We also spin a couple tunes off the new (unreleased) Liquorbox album as well as a couple of our old favorites.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0090 “Caboose Pistol”

In the latest episode of IBWIP we spin new music from Nellie Wilson as well as Gary Roadarmel and The Parish Commissioners. We also play some Hell Fire Sinners and Cowboy Bob & Trailer Trash. We finish it off with Coldbeer’s Double D’s St. Patrick’s Day tunes by Dropkick Murphy and The Tossers.

We start the show off with a double feature of “Stupid People Doing Stupid Things”. First we hear about a woman in Oklahoma who was arrested and was hiding a loaded gun in her baby maker. Even the news anchors had a little fun with it. Then we head to Texas where the police have nothing better to do than to raid some poor Asian ladies just trying to make a living. This of course makes Blake pissed. Amish BJ, Coldbeer, and Blake then take you inside the interrogation room and see what these working Asian girls would say when questioned.

We also welcome the one and only Hobo Hiatus onto the show to talk about Blake’s upcoming trip to Folsom California. There is a trip to the Asian market, high tech fort making, and an all around awesome week of YouTube video’s and staying up all night. Finally we play a game where Amish BJ hopefully ends his streak of losing on IBWIP.

Finally we discuss the IBWIP schedule for the next month, the pre-order has started for the 6th Anniversary T-shirt Bundle, and as always… we make it difficult for Coldbeer to present her Double D’s.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0089 “An Interview with Wayne “The Train” Hancock”

In this episode, we welcome back the Legendary Godfather of Juke Joint Swing, Wayne “The Train” Hancock to the show. Wayne last appeared on the show 5 years ago on EP9. In this interview, we discuss his new album “RIDE”, talk about the recording process, and his relationship with label Bloodshot Records. Wayne talks candidly about his battle against alcohol and his love for motorcycles. We also discuss the first time he heard Hank Williams Sr. and his time in The United States Marine Corp. Along with the interview, we play a couple of tracks off the new album and a couple of our favorite classic Wayne songs.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0088 “Beej Never Wins”

It’s time once again for another gripping episode of IBWIP. In this episode, we spin tunes from The Ten Foot Pole Cats, Ray Lawrence Jr, Buck 55, Arty Hill and The Long Gone Daddies, Work Horse, and Swamp Rat. We also have a short interview with Baby Genius from Piss Poor Washboards and The Goddamn Gallows. In the interview, we talk about how he got into making washboards and how Piss Poor Washboards started.

In this episode, we have special guests Stagger and Apple from Working Class Radio and we have them play “How Well Do You Know Your Mate”.  Amish BJ, Mute Jacob, and Coldbeer also play a round of Fact or Crap. Amish BJ is now convinced that he will never win a game on IBWIP.  We discuss the “family” that this genre of music has, James Hunnicutt talks about IBWIP on his new DVD, and the upcoming IBWIP 6 year anniversary commemorative gift pack.
