Our good friend Brook Blanche, of The Calamity Cubes, has a new self titled solo record out on Farmageddon Records. Brook stops into the dirty stalls of IBWIP to talk about the album along with pinball machines and bourbon. He talks about his parents influences in his musical career and growing up in Kansas. We also discuss the feel of the new album and the how it was for Brook to put these songs together for the album. It’s always a pleasure talking with Brook and this album is a MUST HAVE!

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0124 “An Interview with Mikey Classic”

We have another member of the Farmageddon Records family in the dirty stalls of It Burns When I Pee. Mikey Classic is the front man for The Goddamn Gallows but has recently released a solo album, “Mikey Classic and His Lonesome Spur”. We discuss performing with the Gallows verse solo, how he got started playing the banjo, as well as how he met Fishgutzz and the rest of the band. We also talk about songwriting from “a darker side of life” point of view, his start in music playing in punk bands, and his thoughts on the crowds that the Gallows draw. It was great finally having Mikey on the show. Check it out and listen to a couple songs from the solo album.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0085 “An Interview with Filthy Still”

The guys of Filthy Still rolled through our little ol town of Pekin in January so they stopped by IBWIP Studio for a performance and interview. THEY DID NOT STAIN OUR CARPET, but we had a great time. In the interview, we talk about life on the road, their joining the Farmageddon Records family, the history of the band, and we play everyone’s favorite game… word association!
