In this episode, we feature an interview with our long time friend Joey Allcorn. Joey is putting together a CD project to benefit The Hank Williams Museum. It’s a really interesting project that includes artist such as Jake Penrod, Rachel Brooke, and many more. Here is the Indigogo.com link to THE PROJECT. The fund raising for the project begins on 7/29 and will end on September 1st. In the interview we also discuss “Nothin Left To Prove” which is a new album that Joey has in the works as well as his involvement with the “Outlaws Still At Large” book by Neil Alexander Hamilton.

We even premier our new IBWIP theme song which was written and preformed by our friends from Canada; The Give’em Hell Boys.

In this episode Blake and BJ talk about the Christy Beer-BQ, how Hank has influenced them, how to cook french fries, and boobies! So as some of you (that actually listen to the show) know we moved out of Get Your Hank On Studio. It has been one pain after the other trying to get everything done. We couldn’t skip doing Episode #30 because Hank’s birthday is Sept 17th. So I loaded up the computer and went over to Beans-N-Franks Studio to record the show. Unfortunately, we ran into some issues there as well. Thanks to Matt, Liz, and Andy we are getting this Mini-Pee episode out to y’all. It’s only about a half hour long but I picked some great Hank tunes to play. And for those of you that listen to the show for the music only your in luck…. there isn’t much banter in between. Ha Ha. I must say though the stuff we have planned for EP31 at the end of September will be well worth the wait. Take a half hour out of your day and download this special Hank Williams Tribute.

As the summer comes to a close, we heat up the inter-net with another socially inappropriate episode of It Burns When I Pee. Norma Jean (and her kissin partners: Sarah Bear & Natalie), along with Creepy Guy and NTBNTBBTOB join me in Get Your Hank On Studio and we bring you a jammed packed show. In this episode we feature an interview with the band BIG JUGS. These guys are awesome and we were honored to have the whole band on the show. We will also spin a couple of songs from their new album, “Ridin’ Dirty”.

We are going to rack up a special dedication for the late great Don Helms, and of course we can’t have a September show without showing some love to the birthday man himself… HANK WILLIAMS. If you haven’t heard, The Meat Purveyors got back together to do a new album and we have an exclusive track from that album to play. There will also be a great song from the band Politically Erect along with a Rolling Stones song. I know… we are all over the board on this episode. Ha Ha Ha!

We talk about tons of stuff in this episode as well. BEWARE: Norma Jean is drunk and Ryan is under the weather, but we still had a great time. We talk about our trip to the Metal Farm Magazine Release Party, the IBWIP Auction, fan feedback, and we press play and have Norma Jean and her kissin partners watch some more porn. Of course we are not going to leave you itching for some comedy, we have another great IBWIP Dating Game skit. This time host Blake Clayton is the guy looking for “Ms.Right”.

It’s the moment you have all been waiting for… Episode #12 of It Burns When I Pee! The Valentines Day Massacre is here! We have been gone for almost two months, but we are back to fight the good fight for underground/Alt-country. On this episode we feature an interview with Bill Anderson (of the Meat Purveyors). In the interview we talk about his career, the in and outs of The Meat Purveyors, and what he is doing now a days. We are also going to premier our new comedy skit, The Trailer Park Dating Game. This is probably the most extensive skit we have done thus far. The show is as usual filled with music from the likes of The Von Ehrics, Stacy Dean Campbell, Joecephus & The George Jonestown Massacre, OldBoy, Hank Williams Sr, and of course some tunes from The Meat Purveyors. Here it is folks. Episode #6 of It Burns When I Pee. In this installment, we pay tribute to Hank Williams Sr. Hank would have been 84 years old on September 17th. We have a great interview with Beth Birtley from the Hank Williams Museum in Montgomery, Alabama. We are going to play some of Hank’s song preformed by the likes of Joey Allcorn, Hank III, Andy Norman, Hank Cash, and Jake Penrod. We will also be playing some of our favorite Hank songs preformed by the man himself. We will also have Jared Morningstar on the show and he will be reading an essay that he wrote about the late great Hank Williams.
