Joseph Huber has a new album out entitled, “The Hanging Road” and we were lucky enough to sit down with him to talk about it. We pulled up a couple bar stools onto the famous pickin’ porch at The High Note in Pekin IL. In the interview we discuss the new album, talk about what makes the perfect song, and his recent nuptials. We also discuss his wood-working and even throw in a couple .357 String Band questions. Not only is this episode available as a podcast but we also have it as a vidcast on our PeeAVision youtube page. The video includes a live performance of two new songs from his new album including: Coming Down From You as well as Same River Twice. He is accompanied by Guido Grease Rag on bass and Jason Loveall on fiddle. Make sure to check it out as well.

I am so please to have my good friends The Calamity Cubes back on the show! I hopped into their “home” and pressed record on the Zoom. In the interview, the band and I talk about a lot more than just music. We talk about their views on relationships, their solo works, and the law changes in Colorado. They even talk about meeting my mom at a recent show. Kody, Brook, and Joey are always great to hang out with and this intimate interview is just that, just 4 guys hanging out in a van talking about life.

When you think of New York City you probably don’t think of Roots/Country music, but we have a fella who proves that even the big city can generate some great music. In this episode we interview JD Patch. We discuss his growing up as a military kid, how Hip Hop got him into Country music, and of course is fiances legs! It Burns When I Pee Episode #0126 “An Interview with Bob Wayne”

I know we say this alot, but this truly is one of the best interviews we have had in a long time here at IBWIP.  We were lucky enough to sit down face to face with Bob Wayne when he was coming through Pekin during his latest tour. Bob has tons of great”road” stories and he shares a few in this interview. Hear Bob talk about his new album “Back To The Camper” which is due out on April 21st. We also talk about touring overseas, Red Simpson, movies, and of course the beard. Bob tells stories about some of the out of control shows he has played and also about playing a show with a naked stripper in his face. We also had fans submit some questions for Bob and our fans didn’t let us down. Find out who Bob would kill in a zombie apocalypse, which is his favorite lube, and if he has ever shit his pants on the road. This is a DON’T MISS interview. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0124 “An Interview with Mikey Classic”

We have another member of the Farmageddon Records family in the dirty stalls of It Burns When I Pee. Mikey Classic is the front man for The Goddamn Gallows but has recently released a solo album, “Mikey Classic and His Lonesome Spur”. We discuss performing with the Gallows verse solo, how he got started playing the banjo, as well as how he met Fishgutzz and the rest of the band. We also talk about songwriting from “a darker side of life” point of view, his start in music playing in punk bands, and his thoughts on the crowds that the Gallows draw. It was great finally having Mikey on the show. Check it out and listen to a couple songs from the solo album.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0122 “An Interview with Scott H. Biram”

It’s been a long time since we have had The Original Dirty Ol’ One Man Band Mr. Scott H. Biram on the show, about 6 and a half to be correct. Scott’s new album “Nothing But Blood” is coming out on Feb 4th and he is in the dirty stalls of IBWIP to talk about it. We also discuss everything from guitars, his grandfather, and even asian massage parlors. We also talk about the rise in popularity of one man bands, his growth as a song writer, and his recording of the new album. We play a couple of songs from the new album including “Church Point Girl” and “When I Die”, as well as one of our all time favorites “Whiskey”. It’s always a great time talking to Scott and this interview is no exception. This is a don’t miss episode for sure.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0121 “An Interview with Chelsea McBee”

We are proud to have Chelsea McBee back in the dirty stalls of IBWIP. In this interview we talk about her new album “The Whiskey Album” which features her band The Random Assortment. We also play 2 new songs from the album, The Devil Himself and Try Again. As well as one of my favorite Chelsea tunes Audrey Pearl.

Of course the interview doesn’t just stop at music talk. We discuss Whiskey, tattoos, lottery tickets, road rage, and much more. This is one of those interviews that is just plain fun to listen to. Chelsea is an amazing artist. If you haven’t heard her music then you should definitely check out this interview.

It Burns When I Pee Episode #0119 “An Interview with Ray Vietti of The Harmed Brothers”

It was great to finally get Ray Vietti of The Harmed Brothers in the dirty stalls to talk about their new album, “Better Days”. In the interview, we talk about how Ray got into playing guitar, song writing, Willie Tea, and how Ray and Alex met. Ray also discusses the process for putting the new album together and one of the main sacrifices that comes with being a traveling musician. It was an honor to have Ray on the show and we hope you enjoy the interview because we sure enjoyed doing it.
