In another great interview episode of IBWIP, we have a chat with Justin Wells of Fifth On The Floor. The band has a new CD coming out called Ashes and Angels. The official release is March 12th. In the interview we discuss how the FOTF family has grown, Shooter Jennings, the new album, and music. Justin is an amazing singer and songwriter and it was a pleasure having him on the show to represent the band.

The guys of Filthy Still rolled through our little ol town of Pekin in January so they stopped by IBWIP Studio for a performance and interview. THEY DID NOT STAIN OUR CARPET, but we had a great time. While on his first solo tour up north he crashed at our place for a couple of days and had a show at Alabi’s in Pekin IL. Bruno is a must see as an artist but definitely a must meet guy. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0076 “Carrie Nation & The Speakeasy” in Studio Interview and Performance

We were very honored to have Carrie Nation & The Speakeasy LIVE in IBWIP Studio back in early October. We have been chomping at the bit to get this episode released. The guys are amazing musicians and great people as well. We recorded this episode just a couple hours before their gig in Pekin, IL. It Burns When I Pee Episode #0074 “An Interview with T.Junior”

In this IBWIP interview special, we sit down with T.Junior. Most of you know that T.Junior as the frontman for The Honky Tonk Hustlas, but he has released his first solo album, “Man in Gray”. Blake and T.Junior talk about the album, the latest on the status of the Honky Tonk Hustlas, and his interest in the history of the Civil War. We also talk about life in Montgomery Alabama, being a solo artist, and how we have gotten mistaken for each other.

We also play a couple songs off his solo album along with a couple songs from the latest Honky Tonk Hustlas, “South of Nashville”. It’s a really good interview and we were honored to have T.Junior on the show.
